Why did they have to go so "Woke" on the Batwoman character for the TV series? In the comics, Batwoman is a white, lesbian woman, NOT related to Bruce Wayne in any way, and is one of the most believable characters around. Ruby Rose ruined the first series of Batwoman, and now they've made her African American. How many people would like it if one of the main African American characters from the comics was turned into a white/Asian character? Not many would be my guess. Woke culture is ruining everything DC Cinematic Universe has tried so far. This is just my personal opinion, as I'd LOVE to see characters like Black Lightning, Steel, Cyborg and more on screen, who are African American in the comics, and such strong characters that are vital to the roles they play in the teams they are asked to join, not just on their own.
