This is his "Mr Knight" persona in the comic books :-) Moon Knight is one of the most controversial characters in the Marvel comics, as he has multiple personalities, kills criminals when he deems it necessary, and maims those he doesn't, by carving a crescent into their foreheads, leaving them a "lesson" in not to do anything criminal again. Three crescents and you're dead. I would love to see this series bring to life all the wonderful other characters who were in the comics, such as Frenchie the mercenary pilot, the highly educated and loquacious bum who worked as Moon Knight's street informer, and I would die happy if they brought the Profiler onto the screen, as that character just blew my mind when he was introduced in the latest series of the comic :->
