PACIFIC OCEAN (Oct. 26, 2010) Final checkers ensure an F/A 18C Hornet assigned to the Dambusters of Strike Fighter Squadron (VFA) 195 is in position before allowing it to launch from the aircraft carrier USS George Washington (CVN 73). This is the final time the Dambusters will fly off the flight deck of George Washington before transitioning to a Super Hornet airframe.
