A rifle, military cover and canteen lie in wait as the Mozambican solider to whom they belong to runs the Marine Combat Fitness Test in Moamba, Mozambique, Aug. 6. The test is part of Exercise SHARED ACCORD 2010, an annually scheduled, bi-lateral field training exercise aimed at conducting small unit infantry and staff training with U.S. Africa Command partner nations. The exercise is designed to increase partner nation capacity for conducting peace and stability operations. The exercise is scheduled to conclude Aug. 13.
