Six CH-46E Sea Knight helicopters with Marine Medium Helicopter Squadron 262 (Reinforced), known as the Flying Tigers, approach a landing site near Apra Harbor on the island of Guam, Sept. 19. The helicopters flew from the USS Essex (LHD 2) transporting Marines of the 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit to perform a simulated airfeild seizure in support of the MEU's Certification Exercise. The 31st MEU is holding CERTEX in Guam in conjunction with the Valiant Shield exercise already underway. Public Domain, Author Unknown.
