John fled to the jungle to live with monkeys after he saw his father murder his mother. Three years later he was captured, aged six.
At the time of his capture he was covered in hair, and only ate roots and berries. He also had a severe case of intestinal worms, some over half a meter long.
He later learned to speak and discovered a love for singing. He is now famous for his voice, and tours the UK with the Pearl of Africa children’s choir.
