I am still learning how to paint Dwarf tattoos on miniatures, which is challenging but worthwhile, as they add so much more to the figure, and make them all individuals :-) I just wish someone would start posting images of Halflings, too, as I am an unapologetic fan of those wee folk😃Then again, I've loved Dwarves for so long now, and painted so many Dwarf forces/armies over the years, that they have a very special place in my heart that will forever be devoted to the Great Maker (A Dwarf God from many, many years ago, when I first started reading about them in fantasy and gaming literature). There's just something so appealing about Dwarves, and their history is many faceted, with so many wnderful characters in literature and gaming lore, that I just can't keep up when it comes to finding inspiration for either converting or sculpting all the wonderful Dwarves I've read about and come to love over the past 50+ years of reading about them😃When I worked as an engineer, we had a saying: "This is getting technical. We need a bigger hammer." I always imagined a Dwarf saying something like that when faced with an opponent much bigger in size, as Dwarves are smiths, and always have hammers to hand for all jobs😃
