Author Description

The Southern Celestial pole and the European Space Agency’s deep space tracking station, in New Norcia, Western Australia.

About 15 minutes in though, the team in Europe threw the dish into action and it swung around to gather data from one of it’s active mission satellites. So this is the “parked” position image.
